Lego Duel Disks - Instructions

Description

Alright, here's a basic layout of how I made them. That grey wheel in the middle? That's the key to the whole thing. (also if you noticed on the evil disk I moved that white disk away from the top. It looked too bulky on top)

For the Chronicler's disk you're going to peg those system bricks into that grey wheel where the studs are positioned next to it, so that the axel is in line with the blade itself. Then you're going to peg the half-peg-half-friction pin attached to the blade into it as well for stability. The Evil disk does the same thing.

The orange piece with the 2x1 panel "Deck" attached to it will lock into the light grey piece with the grey axel (to the far right) and make it so the blade doesn't spin about when they hold it, while the dark grey double-pin-and-axel will work as the handle. The little grey tube is just to flesh it out a bit.

That dark grey pin that runs through the whole thing will simply peg into the underside of the disk to complete it. I used some of those trans-blue hero factory screens from the invasion below not-quite-minifig characters for the duel disk readout. Because you need a computer screen on your duel disk.

The evil disk uses a few more system parts, but It works out for it. The 'handle' axel is actually one of the older axels with a peg on the end, which is what the 'deck' brick attaches to. it runs through the light grey piece attached to the blade and into the 2x1 axel-slotted brick to hold it together. the other axel slotted brick its next to holds the centerpoint together, like on the chronicler's disk. Other than that they're near identical in construction.

As for the claw/hinge on either I just imagine those would be extra deck storage. But that's just me and they're completely optional. I'll post another image with the 'core' of a disk assembled without all the custom kibble around it next.

Also: Sorry if my instructions are horrible to follow, kinda scatterbrained currently. =/
